Adopted!
New Name:
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux
Weight:
Current Location:
Adoption Date:
Adopted by: The Dodson’s
Latest Update:

After coming to DRR in the beginning of January thin, sick, and Heartworm positive to now gaining weight, treated for Heart worms and being in much better shape; Pam has been patiently waiting for a place she can call home. Well today is officially the day! The Dodson’s traveled all the way from Plymouth, MN to pick up this sweet girl and make her part of the family. After losing their dog some time ago, the house seemed too quiet without the sound of paws walking up and down the hallways. Once they came across Pam’s picture with her shiny lip the Dodson’s were sold. They instantly knew she was meant to be theirs once they met as she leaned in on them one by one wagging her tail for some pets. The Dodson’s are unsure of a name for Pam as they want to see her true personality before making it official. They promise to introduce Pam with her official name as well as how she is settling in up in Minnesota on Happy Tails soon. We are beyond grateful for the Dodson’s adopting Pam to spoil with toys, treats, and endless love like she deserves. Until next time, have safe travels and enjoy your new life Pam!💗

About Pam Beesley:
These are the first of the rescues to arrive that I spoke about previously, this is the mother of the Mastiff I will share next. Concerned neighbors ask us if we would take them as both of them were left behind by whoever owned them. Their rescuers dropped them off yesterday to the sanctuary and said they don’t have names so we will take care of that.
She is a purebred Dogue De Bordeaux, age unknown, she has been mainstreamed with other dogs and is a sweet girl.
UPDATE 3/30/2023
Pam has been a struggle to try and get her healthy, she was Heartworm positive she has entropian and needs surgery but she just isn’t healthy enough to have that surgery. Her kidney values are off and we aren’t sure if its due to heart worms or not, so we finally got her healthy enough to get treatment for heart worms and now we wait and see if her kidney values improve.
