Ami Jolene has been adopted by Steven Karacostas from Plano, TX. Steven works from home and has been wanting to have his first dog join his family for quite some time. He has his mom and dad who live close by and the entire family is ready and eager to help as needed and already have play dates scheduled with the other family dogs. Ami is a very shy little dog but Travis said they loved her and she softened very quickly to them which we were very happy to see. They are undecided on a name for her but hope to hear it on the happy tails page.

About Ami Jolene:

This female Spaniel mix will be named Ami Jolene who is an RN. Ami is very, very shy. I can get a tail wag out of her, but she needs lots of time. Secondly, everyone assumes she is a golden mix, I have to say I was fooled too by her initial pictures.

Ami is very small, she is a Spaniel mix and about the size of a Frenchie or a Cavalier. There is no Golden Retriever in her, probably more of a Cocker mix, like I said the size of a small Spaniel.
