Latest Update:
The adoption was finalized for Andy Dufresne, his new mom Robyn ( who is Bryan’s mom) picked him up to fly him home to St. Louis where he will meet his new sister Penny Lane who is pretty happy about having a playmate.
Andy needed a home where he had someone to play with so this is a perfect fit with the Tremayne family.
An ex-con no longer and instead he will be a loved little man.
Happy life Andy
This little man is a survivor! He was found in jail- yes jail, in West Columbia TX jail. The animal shelter and the jail shares the same property where the city jail inmates are held. We contacted the local police and spoke with them about his temperament since we have no means of taking in an aggressive dog and they assured us that he wasn’t. We immediately put together a plan to rescue him and get him the medical treatment that he needed and deserved.
Now that we have had a chance to spend some time with the sweet, sweet dog we have discovered that this adorable dog is between 3 and 4 years old. He is groomed and extremely happy! All of his nails were so long that they curled under his toes cutting his skin. He is very emaciated but he does not have any heart worms or any other big problems that need to be treated. He will go to a foster home for some fattening up and will be neutered and ready for adoption!
