Latest Update:
Today was the day for me to send away Ash our little houseguest for the past 6 weeks to her new home.
She is departing for LaPorte, TX to live with our former adopters Donna & Scott Cox who have our little Schnauzer girl Geneva which was one of Dollyeanne’s pups.
Donna is at home during the day and will be able to continue working on the house training and giving Ash all the help she needs learning to be a pet. She’s come a long way with me and is just an absolute sweet little girl who loves people but is very worried about how to interact with them. Donna and Scott are up for the challenge and I know she will blossom with them. Her name shall remain Ash and she had her own collar with her own name tag stating so.
She will be spoiled with lots of soft toys that will be just like my slipper and her own little dog bed which she loves.
Have a very happy life little girl, I’m happy to have helped you along..
About Ash:Let me tell you about this poor little girl. First of all she looks very little like a miniature Schnauzer. She has tiny eyes that I would guess are due to inbreeding. Her mouth is absolutely disgusting and full of rot, which will be fixed. She’s 4 years old. She’s very thin with hip bones protruding but none of it stopped her from being so polite and so happy that we came to chat with her. I knew that she was not wanted by anyone, no mill owner would want her.
On the ride home from the auction, she kept barking so Renee set this girl beside her on a soft blanket and she was in heaven. She sleeps on her foster mom’s bed and she loves that too, but crates and cages are just not for her.
The catalog said she was a great mom and would even surrogate pups for another mom so I assumed she had some value there. We got her for 90 bucks and I was pretty happy about that. I’ll try and groom her to look a little more like a Schnauzer but ultimately who cares. She’s out of that hell now and on her way home with us.
