Breed: French Bulldog
Current Location: Amherst, OH
Adoption Date: July 15, 2018
Adopted by: Patti Orosz
It was finally time for the last of the Golden Girls group to leave for their forever home.
Bea Arthur had a rough life and came to us with a mast cell tumor, and heartworm positive. She has had all of her medical needs taken care of, she’s a healthy happy girl who loves life, loves swimming, and loves toys.
She will go to live with Patti Orosz and family in Amherst, Ohio. They drove her in a great big RV where she will enjoy sightseeing for the next couple of days as she drives to her new life. Patti’s daughter adopted Desperado and this was her second trip to the Ranch. I have a very special place in my heart for the families that open their heart to adopting a senior dog, it’s such a gift to not only the dog being adopted but to themselves as seniors are just special.
They assure us that she will have all the toys and swimming that she might ever want and will be a spoiled little girl.
Patti said there can only be one Bea so instead her name shall be Lady B. and we think that’s just perfect.
We wish all of you the best and hope to see them again in October at the Gala!
This girl is a very friendly, very outgoing silly girl, she LOVES food and wants anything you’ve got but she’s about 10 lbs overweight. She is very good with all of the dogs as all 5 of these dogs have been which is a blessing. We rescued her at an auction because she’s an older girl, but she is just so happy to be free and able to roam and get affection.
She will be spayed soon and will have her dental taken care of as well.
Her name shall be Bea Arthur and because we do have a Bea here she will only be referred to by her first and last name so as not to confuse anyone.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue, Bea Arthur!
