Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux
Adoption Date: September 3, 2017
Adopted by: Dawn Penning
Dawn Penning and her husband adopted our beloved Angelina just a year ago and sadly she recently helped her cross over the bridge. She reached out to us for perhaps a new playmate for Lucy, a big sweet girl that likes to romp and play. We introduced her to Bee Gee a couple of weeks ago when she dropped Lucy off for a stay and the two them started to play in the lobby quickly with introductions.
They spent a week together and when Dawn came to pick up Lucy they adopted Bee Gee as well.
His new name is Gus and we were informed just a couple hours after departure that the two of them were frolicking about as best friends which we are sure they always will be.
We hope Gus helps heal the broken heart for the loss of Angelina and at the same time give Lucy a best friend.
Happy life Gus
This boy’s story began in Chicago where he was confiscated from who ever his owner was, cruelty was the charge and we understand that he was completely emaciated. He was in a shelter for a month before wonderful Jessica Suzanne reached out to us about him. She was able to pull him out and she isolated him for two weeks for us to make sure he was well before his transport to us yesterday.
He appears to be around one or so, he’s a young buck who is active and so far is getting along well with everyone. He will soon be off to Dr. D’s for all of his needs including neutering which needs to happen asap.
Welcome to a new, healthy beginning, Bee Gee.
