Rita Arnould has been a long time follower of our page. When she and her husband, Kurt saw Bell Bottom and read about her story, they knew right away that they wanted her.
They live in Garland and Kurt works from home. Rita works part-time 3 days a week which is all great for Bell. They currently have a 16 yr old dachshund named Zara, an Australian cattle dog named Ziffel and a lab mix named Charlie. They enjoy daily walks with their dogs and long weekend trips with them in their RV.
After multiple conversations and a face to muzzle meet, the deal was sealed. I do believe love was still in the air..
They drove up this Friday afternoon to adopt our toothless wonder. I know she was excited because the tail was going along with the kisses.
Bell Bottom still has the scheduled dental surgery for the flap over her fistula the middle of March. Kurt and Rita wanted to take her through her surgery/recovery cementing their bond even more.
Have a great life Bell… you’ll be missed by all of us but we couldn’t be happier for you! See you on the Happy Tails page!
About Bell Bottom:
Rescue return:
Millie sharing the return of Bell Bottom.
Bell Bottom was returned just before Christmas. Her adopters felt they were prepared for the needs of this toothless wonder until their vet said she’d never heal, needs to see a specialist for more extensive surgery and would probably have to be hand fed for the rest of her life…..needless to say that scared them.
Well, we have an appointment with a specialist for a second opinion but I can tell you she is healing.. along with eating and drinking entirely on her own. Bell Bottom is full of life, loves to play with toys and get into mischief! She thinks she’ll chew up my rug or carry off a toy bigger than she is. She runs with her little butt wiggling and tail wagging full blast. What a doll she is and makes me laugh all the time. Welcome back, Bell, we’ll find you another home.
