Latest Update:

Lordy what a special girl Bertie Louise was from the day she was rescued from the mill.
Heartbreaker was what we exclaimed, and that proved to be true with all who met and fostered her.
She had quite a bit of work to get done, terrible skin infection, spay, her tail needed to be removed and her vulva needed to be surgically worked on to make sure she could urinate without infection due to how small it was.
Courtney and Mark welcomed her into their home where they cared for her every need. She learned that food was good, dog doors were easy and she even learned that playing with other dogs is fun.

Last night Mark and Courtney drove Bertie Louise over to her forever home and kissed her goodbye. I know there were tears because I know Mark and Courtney but it’s all good because Bertie has found the perfect mom who is so grateful to have her:

Here’s how it all went from Courtney:

We are so please to share the adoption photo of Bertie Louise, now named Daisy and her new mom
Susan who is the perfect fit for this sweetheart. Although she will miss the cow dog at Frenchies of Cooke Manor (and he will miss her too), her new boyfriend Theo has already proven to be the perfect life-long companion for this little gem. Seriously…. they don’t get better than this girl and we are so happy to see her happily-ever-after where she’ll forever be a part of lite Dog Ranch Rescue family! Happy life sweet Daisy. Only good times ahead….

About Bertie Louise:

Bertie Louise is an absolute love bug, if you’re looking for an affectionate Frenchie Bertie Louise is your kind of dog. She’s a mess with her skin and her ears and her tail which will need to be removed because it’s so inverted that it will always be infected and unhealthy. She will be available once we get all of her vetting completed. Bertie Louise is 3 years old and was rescued from a puppy mill auction where she’s never had the love of a family to call her own.
