Sex: Female
Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux
Weight:
Current Location: Flower Mound, TX
Adoption Date: July 29, 2018
Adopted by: Brandy and Eric Stanford
Latest Update:
Look who went home with her family today.
Betsy Ross will live with Brandy and Eric Stanford from Flower Mound, Texas. Brandy has been a volunteer for DRR for quite sometime and her and Eric adopted one of our very first rescues named Kathy, who has passed away as well as the Frenchie that we called Giselle but her name is now Eden Bubbles.
They have wanted a red bear of their own and quite frankly, Betsy Ross is the perfect fit of a fantastic Bordeaux for someone who has ever owned one before. She will have a brother named Buddy and a sister named Bubbles and she will keep her name as Betsy.
Eric wants this girl to be his dog because thankfully Betsy seems to prefer men over women so we feel like it was just a perfect match.
We wish all of the best and hope you enjoy this amazing breed as much as we do!
UPDATE: *******
Betsy Ross is just a very sweet, very quiet girl. She will do very well in a home with all dogs. She’s an excellent choice for someone wanting a Bordeaux who might be their first time having one, a very easy girl to have.
At the June puppy mill auction we attended we were able to take this Bordeaux mama who is just so happy to be free and run and play with everyone. She was the oldest being born in April of 2012 and now her life has been changed forever.
Say hello to Betsy Ross!
