While Blossom was at Dr. D’s recovering from her upper respiratory infection she was loved by the entire staff, however, Keegan who works there fell head over heels for her.
The Crable family from Allen, Tx filled out the application for her in the same way that everyone does, and all the checks and balances lined up perfectly. Keegan offered to foster to adopt, taking her home for lots of continued baths and medication.
So it’s a happy ever after for Blossom, who will certainly never suffer on the streets again the way that she had when she was rescued.

This 8 month-old baby girl was in need of help down in Houston, a stray on the street, neglected by all that passed by her.
We tagged her and with the help of our amazing transport page volunteers, got her to Dr. D. for evaluation. She was covered in crust, pus is oozing from her cheeks, she was emaciated, anemic and in need of some good medicine and good food.
She’s a very sweet little girl, only about 18 pounds, and Dr D thinks she’s a little Sheltie mix.
