Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux
Weight: 103 pounds
Current Location: Bartonville, Illinois
Adoption Date: June 3, 2022
Adopted by: Katie and Ron Woods
Katie and Ron Woods from Bartonville, Illinois flew down to Texas yesterday to add a very special Bear to their family. After stopping by The Perot Museum, The Dallas World Aquarium, and Hutchins BBQ, they had everything checked off their TX to-do list besides coming to get Brennan! He got a bath and lots of goodbye kisses from everyone this morning, and we all could not be happier for him. Katie works from home and can’t wait to have a Bear to keep her company. Their Heart-Bear sadly passed away 3 years ago, and Katie told me that they still think about her and miss her every single day. We know that Brennan will be the perfect heart healer for this family. He was cool as a cucumber meeting everyone and took to their son immediately. His new name will be Brekker and I’m told that we will see tons of posts on Happy Tails, starting on the drive home! His first stop will be the World’s Largest Peanut , followed by the World’s (second) Largest Rocking Chair. Brekker’s family is already smitten with him and can’t believe how easy going he is. They plan to add another female dog in the near future, and Brekker will be so happy to have a friend. Happy life Brekker, you deserve it!!About Brennan:
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue sweet boy!
Brennan is completely vetted and ready to walk out the door now with a family. He was a stray with his brother, both skinny with skin infections and ear infections, but thankfully not heartworm positive. He is a great big boy, topping around 120 pounds, gorgeous and sweet and very strong. Brennan can be a little dog selective with dominant males. He’s been lovely at the sanctuary with the girls and smaller males. He loves to play with Ariel, but he would be good with most other dogs, however we would like to avoid large dominant males.
What an impressive dog he would be to have you feel protected in your home.
Brennan was found as a stray here in Texas with his brother Dale back in March and Dale has been adopted and gone on to his new home. This leaves Brennan as the king of the castle at the Sanctuary surrounded by Frenchie mill mamas who he is very sweet with. Brennan loves affection and will make someone very happy as their new pet.
