Latest Update:
This adoption is a very special one for us. Glenda is family and a volunteer for the rescue. She has very recently lost two of her dogs, little Daphne the Dachshund and just recently she lost our beloved JoJo with a brain tumor.
She was interested in Brother and went to visit him the other day and she fell in love with him. Her little Chihuahua Rudy has just been lost all alone as the only dog and he took an immediate liking to Brother and that sealed the deal.
Brother has lost 4.5 pounds of the 20 he needed to lose and Glenda is a stickler for details and consistency with her dogs so lots of exercise and his diet will continue to get this weight off of this little man so he can be healthy and live a very long life.
We are so happy for Glenda, Brother and Rudy!!!
Brother was an owner surrender from a family with a mother suffering from Alzheimers and was unable to care for him. He’s approx 6 years old and already neutered and microchipped and vaccinated. The sad part is that he came to us at least 20 pounds overweight and we are working now to get that weight off of him. He’s a sweet boy and he gets along very well with all of the dogs at the Ranch.
