Foster mom Trish in Oklahoma contacted us yesterday about this 33-pound blue boy who fell into the loving arms of Low Rider Dachshund Rescue in Newcastle, OK and they immediately asked if Dog Ranch Rescue could help. She picked him up and took him to Dr Roach for an assessment. He needs to be neutered, black teeth and ear polyps so far. All we know is he was a breeder release.

UPDATE 4/15/2021
We have discovered that Bugsy has a pretty bad luxating patella and hasn’t put his back leg down since we’ve had him. Once again that’s not where the money is made so the mill owners would never address surgical repair on something like this. Bugsy will be having surgery soon to fix this knee and have him feel comfortable for the first time in a very long time.
