The mill owner didn’t want to keep Bumblebee because of this foot, not wanting to be cited by a USDA inspector he opted to get rid of her in a private deal to us.
Her foot has been like this for quite a while, it doesn’t appear to be painful, I cannot emphasize enough what a silly nut this girl is, she goes, goes, and goes some more.
Her exam states that X-rays don’t show any problems with bones, and it appears to be all soft tissue, she’s been put on a couple of heavy duty antibiotics to see if this is some kind of really bad infection. It’s twice as big as the other foot and the leg is significantly swollen as well. We are hoping all she needs is antibiotics to turn this around but we shall see.
