Latest Update:
His owners contacted Dogue De Bordeaux rescue to surrender him because they couldn’t afford his care any longer. Dogue De Bordeaux rescue had no fosters who could help so I contacted them and told them that we could take him at Dog Ranch Rescue.
He lived in Wisconsin, is 3 years old and is in pretty rough shape. We are told he has allergies and his skin and his eyes need specialized care that they cannot provide.
Laura took him to our transport page and asked for help getting him from Wisconsin to Texas and she had that arranged in literally about 15 minutes.
Darlene Floyd stepped up immediately and went and picked this big boy up from his family last night and took him home to her place. She told us that he knew sit, shake, down and stay and lived with two cats and two other dogs. We were also told that he lived with a Pit Bull that would sometimes beat him up but he never fought back. He appears to have some scars from these incidents.
He has yeasty skin and some infections so Travis has been giving him wonderful scrubbies in medicated baths which he absolutely loves. He is just a big sugar boy who loves kisses, and is so well behaved.
His name is Buster and we think that name will just stay… Welcome, Buster Bear!
