Cadbury

Today was the special day for Cadbury, from the Easter group. She said farewell to the sanctuary and hello to her new family, the Valcke’s.

We had two Frenchies that we rescued that had the proceeds of the sale of the dog going to a local bible camp. It just lets you understand that the people selling these dogs are regular people, family people, people who go to church. They are people who just think that what they do for a living is a just a job like a farmer who raises pigs. It truly is no different to them but I always, always find the difference to be they are raising dogs to be sold as loved family members, not food on someone’s table and to me that should make them realize that something is off there. It’s just how my brain works on the whole thing, and I know that they would wholeheartedly disagree..
