Calamity Jane

Keri and Jared Knowles from McKinney, TX were so excited to surprise their kids with not one but two puppies. Their grandmother Gina is a volunteer at the sanctuary and told the kids that they were going for a tour this morning. They will be heading home with Calamity Jane and Doc Holliday. Now that’s a fun surprise! They have a Pekingese Shepherd mix at home named Nala. Their college age daughter also has a corgi named Dakota who will get to enjoy playing with the puppies when she comes home for a visit. The family has decided that Doc Holliday will be named Huxley but they are not sure about Calamity Jane’s name just yet. They are considering Nix or maybe Coco. They promised to share on the Happy Tails page once they decide on her name.
