Carol Danvers is off to live in Upland, CA which is the hometown of our family.
Keri and her daughter flew to Texas to meet Carol and will take a road trip back across the country to get her home. Carol will have a Shepherd mix, a Boston Terrier and a Huskey mix to enjoy life with. Keri’s husband Van works from home and will be there to help Carol adjust to her new life and is looking for a running partner.
Keri grew up with Dobermans and told me as a child they had three of them and although she is too young to remember as a young child one day she fell in the pool and couldn’t swim, one of the Dobermans ran for help to Keri’s dad and the other two jumped in the pool and literally pulled hr out of the water. Carol is where she was meant to be and we are so happy shes off the streets of South Texas and now on her way to California to live a wonderful life. She’s unsure of what they will name her but we hope to find out on the happy tails page.

This little young girl found herself in the shelter down in the Valley which is a very dangerous place to be. She has been tagged, she will be transported from Palm Valley Animal Control to a meeting spot in San Antonio for rescues trying to help get dogs out of this area.

We needed a ride for her from San Antonio up to the sanctuary but Ricky Barnes has already jumped in to make sure that happens. She will be isolated at the sanctuary until we are confident she’s not harboring many of the very bad things that occur down there.

We bantered about on a name and Wes and Travis settled on this:
