TJ and Rich Nodland of Jacksboro, Texas unfortunately lost DRR Bertha/Carma the Bordeaux earlier this year, and have missed her terribly. They opened their hearts to Carma back in 2020 as a special needs adoption, and loved her dearly for 3 years. When TJ saw Christa flying in from South Texas on a rescue plane, she knew she needed to come meet this special girl. Christa was demure until the treats came out, and then quickly showed her new mama just how smart she is! She took quickly to Rich as well, and gave him lots of kisses. Christa’s new name will be Ink, and she will have two boxer brothers waiting for her at home. About Christa:

Christa the Doberman that was flown in from being a stray in the valley has had her medical exam. Christa is HW negative (hallelujah) and healthy other than being underweight. She seems to have recently weaned pups and is not currently pregnant. She is eager to please and knows “sit”.

Christa is a sweet sweet girl that loves hugs and loves people. She’s in isolation for now but she will be vetted very quickly and hopefully we can get some really nice applications for her and send her out to a new life far far away from her previous one.
