Breed: French Bulldog
Current Location: Chicago
Adoption Date: October 22, 2019
Adopted by: Cate Bernhardt
I kept wondering why I wasn’t getting any information from Cate on how Cowboy, her little brindle foster was doing. We had lots of applications for him and Laura forwards them over to her so she can choose who she likes as a best fit for him.
Nothing, no feedback, no updates, no pics, nothing..It was as if Cowboy had disappeared…🤔
The today we got this information from Chicago..
“He airs his man parts over the AC vent. He climbs INTO the empty dishwasher to bark at his reflection. He causes more of the yard to be inside the house rather than outside. He is the Horrible Warning yin to the resident frog’s Good Example yang. He is proving ridiculously difficult to potty train (see aforementioned air vent reference and let your mind wander). He sleeps upside down. He may get voted as Dog Most Likely to Cause a Divorce. He is 14 pounds of gooey, brindle kryptonite.
This was today’s collection and it’s not close to his best effort.
Yes – that is a (small) Sugar Baby watermelon from the garden. No – I have no idea where he found a spoon.
Cowboy has found his Happily Ever After and from here on out will be known as Duncan.
He’s not big.
He’s not red.
He’s not a dogue.
He’s a Bernhardt.
I call him Sir Duncan Harris, Royal Consort to HRH Olive The Husband calls him…. Donut
Welcome to the Clan, you big weirdo”
So alas the tall redhead in Chicago has fallen weak to a little knucklehead brindle boy….He’s a lucky little man.
Happy life to the Bernhard’ts and to Sir Duncan Harris…About Cowboy:
Formerly #252. this little man was born on 5/13/19 and will be honored to carry the name of this Border Collie who worked the World Trade Center site looking for survivors and that dog’s name was Cowboy.
He will be off to Chicago to be fostered by Cate Bernhardt.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue, Cowboy!
