Latest Update:

Crackle has left the building to start a wonderful new life with Paige and Rick Sawyer in Lubbock, Texas.
Paige saw Renee’s post about Crackle and said that something about this dog was tugging at her heartstrings. She had a long talk with Rick about bringing Crackle home knowing she is terrified of humans because of her life as a neglected puppy mill mom.
They decided they were up to the task and would dedicate the time and patience that this precious girl needs to trust humans for the first time in her life.
Paige and Rick are both retired so Crackle will have her humans around full time.
They are big fans of DRR and previously adopted Mama Beans last year. Beans and Frausty, their 14 year old schnauzer, will show Crackle what it’s like to be a spoiled and loved dog.
They are already on the Happy Tails page and will keep us all updated on Crackle’s progress.
They haven’t decided on a new name yet but will give us an update once they get to know her.
Happy life, sweet Crackle. You are on your way to a loving home that you always deserved.
About Crackle: This girl is one of three breeder release dogs that we were asked to take by another rescue (Camo). She came with a full coat of solid mats and had to be shaved all the way down to the skin. Under all of that filth she is as cute as a bug. We have absolutely no information about anything on these dogs, no age, no medical history…absolutely nothing.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue Crackle.
UPDATE 5/12/2021
This little girl is Crackle. She is a Coton De Tulear, 5 years old and all of her vetting is finished and she is ready for adoption.
As you can see she is as cute as a bug, she is a little timid with people which is not uncommon for mill dogs. Her best friend is Snap and they play constantly but humans are a little scary still.
