Today was Creek’s best day! He was adopted by Roberta and Doug who live close by in the Dallas Metroplex. Roberta came over and met Creek about a week ago and spent some time letting him get to know her. They have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels at home (Chelsea who is 13 and Sammy who is 7) and were looking to add another to their pack. Roberta is retired and Doug works from home. When they saw the FB post on Creek they knew he was the one. Chelsea had been a puppy mill rescue and very scared so they knew what would be involved in adopting Creek. They were not deterred in the least. Creek could take all the time he needed to adjust to being a part of their family.
Creek’s new name will be Zeke. I think our little man has found the perfect forever home.
Creek (now Zeke) does look a little nervous in his adoption picture so I wanted to add the picture I received of him looking at Roberta as they were on their way to his new home. It’s almost as if he’s saying “ I trust you”. Love this picture and love this little man. I’ll see you on the Happy Tails page.
He is a very cute little man I’m told that he is 5 years old. A King Charles Cavalier.

UPDATE 6/6/2022
Creek has been returned. He’s a shy sweet boy like most Cavaliers are. He was born in January of 2017 and we are looking for a new home for him.
Millie fostered this boy and said he’s just the sweetest boy ever.
UPDATE 2/13/2022
Creek is such a cute little man, but he suffers from the pretty common lack of social skills that most mill dogs do. He runs from us and is terrified of hands. It takes lots of baby steps to help a dog like him.
