Breed: Dogue de Bordeaux
Weight: est. weight 110 pounds
Current Location: Portland OR
Adopted by: Cindy Louis
Some foster adoptions are bittersweet, I have had a very strong connection to the Grey’s Dogue’s and today we sent the first one on her way to her new life. Cindy Louis flew to Dallas from Portland Oregon, rented a car and came to pick up her girl Cristina for a very long road trip home.
Cindy recently lost her Bordeaux and was looking for a new love and Cristina was the lucky candidate to do just that.
We packed up her car with her bed purchased from the Amazon wish list, turkey and rice burgers for the road and her mom had a car full of groceries to keep her happy on this long three day road trip.
Travis gave her some very big kisses for the road which she liked very much.
Cindy has 3 different names she’s thinking of for her but she said she needed to spend some time with her to see which suited her best. This long road trip will give her a better idea of just how wonderful Cristina is.
We wish her nothing but the best in her new life, and look forward to seeing her again on the Happy Tails page…
Happy life sweet girl, we will miss you
Cristina is Meredith’s sister, they both came from a back year breeding situation where be became emaciated and covered in infection. Cristina is truly a loving, sweet, playful dog that loves to be petted. Once she is well enough she will be spayed and she will be ready for her forever home.
Cristina is 4 years old, Cristina and her sister will be big girls once their weight has filled in. Best guess would be the girl grow to be 110 pounds.
