“The sweetest dog ever award goes to DELTA!! This girl is so sweet. She’s super shy and nervous, but we’re seeing her personality come out more and more. She loves my husband and sleeps on the floor next to his side of the bed. She won’t sleep on any of the soft dog beds or blankets…she wants to be on the floor. Her hips are stiff when she gets up, so we’re trying to coax her to use one of the 20 dog beds and mats we have throughout the house. My husband even went out and bought her an orthopedic bed that’s low to the ground….he has a chat with her each morning and each night telling her about the nice bed he got her..,.but nope.. no luck During the day, she lays in my husband’s office and cries/whimpers when he gets up. She’s had a few accidents, but I think we’re on a schedule now and she does her business outside. She’s scared to go through the door, so we leash her and walk out with her. She’s been super curious about the toy bin, and last night she ventured over and picked a couple of toys and bones to play with! Video of her brave journey to the toy bin below.
