Boy oh boy what a fun adoption! Duke and Margherita were buddies at the sanctuary, and we were all so happy when Jim and Susan Stevens of Prosper, TX asked to come meet them both. The Stevens are long time English Bulldog lovers, but sadly their dogs have all crossed the rainbow bridge. They have decided to open their hearts and their home to Both Duke and Margherita, and today was the day! Duke will keep his name, but Margherita will have a new one after she settles in. Thank you for adopting and please update us on Happy Tails! As you can see, Duke was eyeing his new car and couldn’t bother to look at the camera! Margherita was too exited to be with her new momma and the same goes for her Happy Life everyone!

 

About Duke:

He is a new owner surrender and a magnificent specimen he is. Family changes have left him without a home. He was born on 11/17/16 and he is off to see Dr. Reno today, neutering will be first on the list. He is good with all other dogs but I don’t know much more than that right now. He is here in time for Halloween and that’s perfect because look at this great big orange jack-o-latern head.

Duke continues to do well with other dogs, however he did not pass a test with a 7 year old. We will be looking for a new home with him with no small children..
