It was time for our sweet Edith to head to her new home, and it was love at first sight including some tears of joy!
Edith will be heading to Kingwood, TX with her new mom,Misty Jackson.
Misty has wanted to adopt a Frenchie after falling in love with the breed. Her daughter has a frenchie and said that little dog was the best thing that had ever happened to them. She has watched the page for awhile and some dogs would tug at her heartstrings but once she saw Edith, and her little tongue that loves to stick out, she immediately knew, Edith was the one!
Misty works from home so she will be with her during the day to play. Edith is a very curious and playful girl, and her mom already bought her lots of toys to play with!
She is undecided on her new name. She said she needed to meet her and get to know her a bit to see what fits her personality. Misty will update on the happy tails page soon with her new name.
She will be missed at the Sanctuary but we are so happy to see her have a family of her very own.
Hold on to your hats with this one. She has already shown she is a nut, she was in her cage, flipping her bowl and is a complete nut. Even on the ride home she has been having a party in her crate all by herself.
She was born on 2/2/16
Formerly # 176
We will be naming her Edith Johnson, she is 100 years old, she recently was diagnosed with covid and overcame it. She’s survived a broken hip and battles Alzheimer’s, but she just keeps on trucking. Her husband was a POW during WW2. They were never blessed with children, but she was a surrogate mother and grandmother to her nieces and nephews. An incredibly generous woman, she helped out my brother through his master’s program. She grew up with a strong mother who was a top insurance agent in a time when women weren’t even allowed to vote. Her health has slowed down since she contracted covid, but it didn’t surprise any of us that she beat the odds.
