Esther was rescued with Sanford from Dowdy Ferry road in Dallas a well known dumping ground of countless dogs. She had been fending for herself out there for who knows how long, very, very pregnant and due any moment we brought her home and she promptly delivered 9 pups. One passed away right away and the 8 others are now known as Snow, and the 7 Dwarfs.

Esther is a pretty shy girl not trusting humans but while in her foster home she will learn to trust. She’s got a long road ahead of her with pups to raise and heart worms to have treated but we’ll get there.

She’s very young, most likely just a year old. A small black Lab mix who gets along very well with other dogs.
