Look who left for her new forever life today..
Off goes Fannie to live with Telina Page from McKinney TX. She came with her new collar, her new harness, and I saw pictures of her new bed at home and a plethora of toys. She also assured me that Fannie will have her own coat, after she is a cold girl.
Fannie will have a brother at home who is part Am Staff and part Bassett Hound and I’m sure they will be the best of friends.
Your life of hell is gone, and put that over a month of living in a shelter behind you, we are so happy to have been able to rescue you and send you on your way to a much better life.
Her name shall remain Fannie and we are pretty happy about that because she looked like a Fannie to us the minute we saw her.
Happy life sweet girl…
About Fannie:
Her face came across my feed and I couldn’t look away. I sent her to the group and got 3 yes votes and that was all she needed. Laura took her to the transport page and village member Aly Langston went to the shelter and picked her up.
She’s been at Dallas Animal Services for over a month and is pretty sick with an upper respiratory infection. Karla met her over at the sanctuary to get her a nice bath and put her in an isolation den of her own until she sees Dr. Reno in the morning. As you can see she’s been all scrubbed clean and is now in her ducky jammies, along way from being in a shelter for a month with no place to go.
I don’t know what she is, she looks a little like a Mastiff, a little like a Boxer, a little like a Pittie, she has a long tail that curls up on her back which isn’t indicative of any of those breeds so who knows what she’s got in her DNA.
We are just calling her Fannie and her life has been changed forever now..Thank you Aly for rescuing her from the shelter.
