Felix is going to live with Karan Narang and Swathi Nair in Southlake, TX. Their 3 kids are so excited to get Felix home to start playing with him. Both parents are home during the day and the kids are homeschooled. Felix will be an only dog so he will get to enjoy lots of time being spoiled by his new family. They lost their Jack Russell Terrier last March to cancer. Soon after that they decided to foster a lab to try to help out during the uncertain times of the pandemic. The foster lab found a new home but the family really enjoyed having him around and began searching for a lab of their own. They saw Felix and immediately applied for him. The family is divided at the moment about what his new name should be. The options are Chip and Panda. We will have to watch the Happy Tails page to see which name wins out.

I’d like to nominate the name of my best friends father who died of Covid on Thursday night. Felix G was a small man in stature but a beautiful light shone out of him him and a kinder gentleman I’ve not known. He was 91 and even if you don’t use his name, just telling you about him is important. We all love these four legged babies because they give us so much love in return. It’s nice when some humans mimic that type of giving nature as was true of Felix G.
