Today was a very happy day for Fetch, never mind all of the volunteers crying because it was time for him to go, happiness is what it is..
Fetch is off to live in Mentor, OH with Tami and Tony Dominic who made the very long 22 hour road trip to come to Texas and meet their new boy. Tami said she was so excited to finally be an official member of the Village of adoptive families member even if you haven’t adopted.
Tami will be home with Fetch during the day and she was so happy to know that he’s a velcro dog and hugs is something he strives for. he will also have a Boxer and a Boston Terrier to enjoy.
We are so happy for all of them ❤️About Fetch:
This handsome man was found as a stray and in a shelter in Longview where he was to be put down just a few hours before we rescued him. Isn’t he handsome?
He’s a red doberman with a natural tail and is approx 5yrs old. When the shelter was performing the neuter they found a stick lodged in the roof of his mouth and removed it. He is HW positive, he’s preliminarily testing positive for ehrlichia a subsequent test has been sent to the lab. He has infected ears, he is sick with an upper respiratory infection and is currently in isolation next door to Webster. He’s a big boy, tall and a long tail which he wags really hard and causes the tip of his tail to bleed.
He’s a very sweet, happy boy…
