This weekend called for a spontaneous girls trip! Mindy Rutter traveled from Friendswood, TX with her daughter and daughter’s friend to meet Gerri. Mindy has been wanting to add another fur baby into her mix to spoil for quite some time now. After stumbling across Gerri’s picture on our site, she knew she had to come meet this sweet girl. As soon as Gerri walked into the room, her nub of a tail started going and she walked right up to Mindy like she knew she was home. It didn’t take long for Gerri to steal all the girl’s hearts so Mindy put on her new, beautiful harness and off they went! Of course with their first stop being Starbucks for a puppicino Once at home, Gerri will have fur siblings Heidi the Frenchie as well as Ellie Mae and Phoebe the Cocker Spaniels to snuggle all day long with. Mindy has decided Gerri’s new name will be Tilly. We look forward to the updates on Happy Tails of all the new adventures Tilly/Gerri will have. • Oh Gerri, she makes me swoon. From her perfect face to her little tail nub that is starting to wiggle when you talk to her, she is just love. She is recently starting to play and engage with the other dogs and looks up at us with the sweetest eyes for direction. She can be shy at first but is learning quickly that there is nothing to fear in her new life of freedom. Gerri would do well with another calm dog and would thrive in a home that is willing to give her time to get comfortable and let her sweet personality shine. She loves to lay in the sun and follow you wherever you go.
