She’s a walking miracle, I’m absolutely convinced of it.
Today Grace was discharged from the hospital, foster mom Cassandra went to pick her up and take her home for the rest of her recovery.
Would you look at her skin!!, look at her foot that had the bones exposed!! look at the light in her eyes. All of the photos you saw of her mangled body was only 2 weeks ago…
She is full of kisses and love and is just as sweet as she could possibly be.
It’s obvious that she was a mill dog, she has nipples showing lots of pups, she has callouses on her legs from living in a cage. I’m sure they were done with her and pushed her out the door somewhere in Oklahoma and while out on her own she was hit by a car.
She has to rest and recover from her broken pelvis, foster mom Cassandra has bought her a stroller to take her for a walk and enjoy the outdoors. She will return to the hospital on Tuesday, she will be put under anesthesia and have her bandage changed on her back foot. The bones are broken on those back two toes and it is still undetermined if they will remove one or wait to see how it heals. The bandage changing process will be taken one step at a time. She remains on the medication helping her bladder function but so far so good.
I would like to thank all of the vets involved with caring for her, Dr. D, Dr. Nicholas, Dr. Werth…..She has been a little trooper, and she has touched the hearts of thousands of people and because of your financial support we were able to pay the bills that were necessary to save her life.
Amazing Grace how sweet she is……
