Breed: French Bulldog
Current Location: Oklahoma
Adoption Date: April 14, 2018
Adopted by: Lene
Gunnar is off to his forever home in Oklahoma to live with Lene who recently lost her French Bulldog to lymphoma. When she saw Gunnar’s face she got the same feeling in her heart as when she first saw her Frenchie, Major, and she immediately reached out wanting to fill out an application for him. Lene is self-employed and is able to take Gunnar to work with her and she looks forward to spoiling him. She was born in Denmark and the name Gunnar in Scandinavian means “Warrior” so it looks like it was all meant to be.
Happy tails little man!
We were contacted by the owner of this boy in Oklahoma, she added him to her pack about a year ago from some breeder who debarked him with a wire down his throat when he was a baby. The male that she already had in the home would not accept him, bullied him and things were getting out of control where he felt the need to fight back.
She asked if we would take him and she drove him to us yesterday. He’s only 2 years old and is already neutered. I have not met him myself yet but the boys report that he’s a very social and respectful boy with all of the other dogs.
We will get him in to see Dr. D and determine if he has any needs that need to be addressed but I’m sure it will be just a short period of time before we find him a much happier home to live in.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue, Gunnar.
