The Ognanovich family from Kingswood, Texas has raised multiple labs, and Heatwave is next on the roster. Everyone was thrilled to meet him, and he took to his new family immediately. His new name will be Teddy, and we can’t wait to see what he’s up to on Happy Tails. (I’m told he has a swimming pool waiting for him!)

As we said a couple of days ago with the breeder surrendering Swelter and Sizzle. They also had 3 aged out Lab pups they wanted to place with a rescue. Ricky drove out today to pick up three 5 month old yellow Lab male pups.
Sizzle who came from this breeder is already sick with a cough and is sneezing and he is in Iso with Swelter, Sultry and Smoochie all that were in a shelter. We did not want to expose these three pups to any illness, so thankfully Jenn has offered to take them to her home for a couple of weeks to see if they are well and once the coast is clear they can go back to stay at the sanctuary.
Jenn will color code them in some way. right now we just want to welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue..
