Breed: French Bulldog
Current Location: Plano TX
Adoption Date: June 2, 2019
Adopted by: Robbie and Clyde
We had an adoption like no other adoption we have ever had at Dog Ranch Rescue over the weekend.
Three of our rescues all went to the same home, Tundra, Jayme and Pringles all found their forever home with Robbie Haggard and Clyde Hubbard from Plano, TX and their English Bulldog Spike, he is a senior at age 11 and they adopted him three years ago when he was 8.
We rarely adopt more than one dog out together and we have never adopted three of them together so the home had to be absolutely perfect for us to consider this. They are very happy to have these girls join their family but we wanted to make sure that we did everything right and make sure it was seamless, so we asked Aaron Stewart to step in and give them all the tools they might need when adding 3 dogs to your family at once. We have kept in close contact with Robbie and Clyde and they said they are all doing wonderful. Jayme used to come to the sanctuary with Cassandra and her and Pringle were just the best of friends and would wrestle nonstop. Tundra is a quiet sweetheart and we felt like for sure these 3 together would do great and that’s just what is happening.
Robbie works from home and Clyde works part time from home so they are there all the time to get their girls acclimated and to give them everything they need.
I don’t know what all of them will be called but I hope to see this trio on the happy tails page.
Happy life to each and everyone of youAbout Jayme:
A trusted friend of Neil and Jayme Harvey found out about this pup who was purchased from a “breeder” and saw the puppy last month and she was normal, a couple of days ago the buyer of the puppy went to pick her up from the “breeder” and this is what she looked like. The breeder said the pup must have got her foot caught in the cage but then took the pup to his vet and the vet said it was a sprain took x-rays and said there is something wrong with her vertebrae and that they should euthanize the puppy.
The buyer is also a follower of the page and knew that she couldn’t take on an expensive medical case like this one not knowing what is true and what isn’t true. She is friends with the Harvey’s and together they reached out to ask if we could help this baby girl.
We sent the x-rays to Dr. Reno and she has had tests as well as an MRI.
First of all the MRI does show that she does have Spina Bifida…. but it is mild and it is NOT the cause of any of her symptoms and problems.
We were pretty shocked to learn that the MRI showed us is that what she has is an infection in her spinal cord very low in her lumbrosacral area. Dr. Ducote said this is extremely unusual to see this in a young dog, and usually when it is seen the dog is 3 to 4 years of age. Stayed tuned for more information as we continue caring for this beautiful girl.
She is already showing much improvement at foster mom Cassandra’s home. She is a happy, sweet girl.
We want to thank Dina, Neil and Jayme for helping this pup get the care she needs and being proactive to make it happen quickly.
Welcome to dog Ranch Rescue, Jayme.
