The volunteers said their goodbyes to Jody this morning and wished her a happy life as Curt & Erik Lizzi from Katy, TX came to pick up the beautiful chocolate Lab.
Her name will now be Josie and she will live with the Lizzi family including twin boys, Erik and Marcus. The Lizzi’s also adopted the much loved Mastiff Claire from DRR, so Josie will have a sister to play with too.

We had our sights set on a couple of Labs knowing they wouldn’t be desirable and hoping we would succeed. We did and this girl was the only female Lab we got. She is a Chocolate Lab and a very sweet girl. She was born on 4/28/15

She will be named Jody Swan who is a Police officer.

UPDATE 9/21/2020
Jody is coming out of her shell more and more each day. She started out as very shy and would hide in her den during picture time. Now she comes out with the pack and I can see her face getting calmer each day as she navigates this new world.
