George and Anne Palmer of Hollywood, South Carolina are repeat DRR Adopters of the likes of DRR’s Nora (Sister), Dakota (Codie), ChaCha (Rosie), Grumpy Bear, and Desi the Frenchie. After losing Desi earlier this year and taking some time, the Palmer’s considered adding another dog to their pack. In true DRR fashion, they have now added both LaLa Bear and Meatball to their family! These two girls have truly struck gold with their new home, and we couldn’t be happier. LaLa Bear will keep her name, but Meatball’s new name will be Marmalade. Have a safe drive back to SC and please update us on Happy Tails after everyone is settled. About La La Bear:
She was in a local shelter and we were asked if we could help. Her owner is terminally ill and she had no place for her to go. Breaks my heart and I hope that word gets to her owner that she is safe and will never be without a family for the rest of her days. Other than that all I know is that she’s 5 years old and the shelter said she is a very sweet girl. Her name is La La and we currently have a dog in our rescue named La La so we shall just call her La La bear so we know the difference.

Lala will be perfectly happy with a calm person or family- she HATES being confined and is not destructive or anything but it does cause her great stress. So someone who is WFM would be better fit for he, she just want her person and to love them with all her heart.
