Adopted by: Donna and Debra
It was love at first sight when Laurel came up on our page. Donna and Debra knew that they couldn’t add to their pack at this time because there wasn’t any room. They didn’t reach out and we continued to look for a home for Laurel. In a very short period of time Donna and Debra lost two of their dogs from illness and Laurel was still here.
They knew then that it was meant to be and this little girl was going to be theirs. Today that became a reality and off Laurel went to live her life in Houston with several siblings including Caitlin the mini Schnauzer. Laurel’s name shall remain as it is, and she rode off with her new crate and bed that has the option of burrowing like any good Dachshund wants to have.
A life fit for a princess and a happy one she will be!About Laurel:
While our volunteer Julie ran back to Missouri for an appointment, she stopped off to rescue two little dogs, Dachshunds, who have spent their whole lives as breeder dogs. This wire-haired Dachshund is a female, 7 years old, and oh so sweet. She is shy and unsure of human hands but has already warmed to cuddling and some affection.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue, Laurel.
