Latest Update:
Yes, everyone foster fails once in a while. You might remember that our foster mom, Kim, was going to foster Maizey for us, and work on her housebreaking skills. Well she has fallen in love with her and so has her little black Frenchie, Miss Charlotte Pickles.
Kim has fostered almost 100 dogs in the last 15 years so I feel like she is doing pretty well with only failing a couple of times.
Maizey if you recall was a mill mama that her owners couldn’t get her housebroken so they relinquished her to Dog Ranch Rescue to find a permanent place for her. Kim reports that she is doing very well, and besides that could these two be any cuter together?
Kim said that she never did respond to her name, so she has renamed her to something that she prefers.
Say hello to Miss Vivian Pearl.
She is as cute as a button, a very sweet girl with people and gets along with all of the dogs.
This little girl was relinquished to our Rescue by her owners. They had her for 8 months and were unable to housebreak her. She was placed in a new home, but she came back because of the same issue.
The current owner reached out to me to see if I would take her because she has four small children and another on the way. She just cannot devote the time necessary to housebreak this girl.
She is very sweet and affectionate with people, but she needed a family environment so we could assess her personality and her house breaking situation. We sent her on to our fabulous foster, Kim, who will love and care of her until she is fixed.
Welcome to the Rescue, Maizey!
