While Ricky Barnes was driving off to San Antonio to pick up Jean Grey and bring her back to the Ranch we had a little adoption.
Terrie Barnes wanted Marigold so much when she came in but Laura already had an adopter picked out for her that had been waiting for a Frenchie that fit the playful type. Laura told Terrie and Ricky they would be back up if it didn’t work out.

Then she thought knowing that we are going to the auction this weekend the likelihood of us bringing a Frenchie home that would be a good fit for the adopter of Marigold would be very high, Laura messaged her and asked her if she wouldn’t mind waiting for something coming in and she said absolutely no problem.

So Laura messaged Terrie and Ricky that Marigold was forever theirs to join their little pied group Uno and Blanche. Terrie was ecstatic and swung over to the Ranch and picked up all three of the girls who had been frolicking and playing all day long while Ricky was off on transport duty.

We couldn’t be happier for all of them and Marigold is very happy to have two sisters of her own and all the playtime this nutty little girl could ever hope for.

About Marigold:

We were contacted by Margaret Diaz in Florida about this little two-year-old girl that she rescued from Craigslist and needed help with. She loves her dearly but couldn’t keep her and knew she would be in good hands with us.
Margaret works for an airline so she was able to fly her and herself to meet Stacy, one of our volunteers, for the handoff. Tearful goodbyes were very much part of the morning and Stacy has driven her on to see Dr D.
I did not have a name for her but Margaret sent these pics this morning of her journey and the floor at the airport had her name pop in my head.
