Current Location: Mansfield, TX
Adoption Date: March 30, 2017

Latest Update:

Marilyn was brought to the ranch with the rescue group of M dogs purchased at the first auction of 2016. She came to us carrying babies and she brought two Schnauzer babies into the world that have already moved on to their forever lives.

Marilyn was adopted by Jo and Kris from Mansfield, Texas, who are huge lovers of the Mini Schnauzer and have waited a while for Marilyn to be ready. Her new name is now Olivia. She will have two new brothers, Bandit and Elliot, so Olivia makes three!

I wish you the happiest of lives in your new home Olivia and I’m so happy to have rescued you from that life.

About Marilyn:

Marilyn is a 7 year old black Miniature Schnauzer. She came to us having been bred by the mill owners. She has an ultrasound scheduled in a couple of weeks to see if there are babies, if not she will be spayed and will be available for adoption. If she is pregnant she will remain in her foster home where she will deliver her pups.

Info from her foster mom.

Marilyn: sweet girl. No aggression shown towards kids, strangers, people, dogs or someone around her food. She wants to be every dog’s friend, and every human’s friend. She walks off for her alone time (sleeps curled up under the Christmas tree) but doesn’t hesitate to ask for attention and loves to sleep in a lap! She is finding “things” to play with, so we are offering her small dog toys and chewies to play with. She wants to play with her humans, but does not know how. We are learning to play. She gives sweet kisses and licks of love. She is a good eater for canned food and treats. She settles for the dry if she needs a snack. Great with kids! Has yet to meet a stranger. Learning potty outside, and doggie door. She does not like being on a leash…
