Latest Update:
We sent off our Mastiff pup Marsha to her forever home with the Core family from Frisco, TX. Marsha will have a Shih Tzu as a sibling that was raised with 2 Mastiffs that have since passed away. The Cores have 25 years experience owning Mastiffs.
They opted to take her home now and take her themselves to the Eye Institute with us paying the bill to have her cherry eyes removed. We were happy to send this big pup on her way and for her to not have to wait any longer.
We wish them all a long happy life together….
About Marsha:Just to give you a little update on how our minds are working with the rescue due to this crisis. We are trying to be mindful with how many rescues we take in, we cannot be assured that our regular donations will continue to come knowing that so many people are in difficult situations handling their own financial crisis that donating to anything right now is out of the question.
We are also very aware that thousands of people who are absolute idiots I might add are taking their dogs to shelters because they are afraid there dog will make them sick. In turn thousands and thousands of dogs will lose their lives.
Travis went to Dallas on Monday to assess Heimdall and the staff asked if he could take this 5 month old Mastiff pup too. With being cautious he said no we will just take one right now hoping someone might adopt this pup. They did not and Laura really pushed for us to just make the decision to take her and so we tagged her yesterday evening and Ricky went and picked her up last night. Interestingly enough she has terrible cherry eyes and makes me wonder if she came from the same place in Dallas that Jubilee came from and you might remember the dozen or so Mastiff pups that came from that house of horrors including Jubilee’s pup Independence that died.
We have moved several rescues to the ranch because what else do we have to do with only a handful of clients.
This will give you a little glimpse at the girl Laura has named Marsha.
