One of our sisters Matilda went home today, Michelle and Lee Moore from Dallas came to pick up their baby girl. Matilda will have 2 Frenchie brothers to live with and will want for nothing.

Michelle just cried when she met her because she is so beautiful.

She was adorned with her own pink princess collar and will always be called Waltzing Matilda.

Matilda has responding tremendously to eye medication and in just a short time has normal tear production. Her eyes have healed very nicely and the doctor is very pleased.

Matilda is an 8 month old girl that we rescued at the auction at the same time as her sister. Matilda came to us with ulcerations on both of her eyes. Even at 8 months old she already has KCS which is a condition called dry eye, she does not produce enough tears and this has caused her eyes to have ulcerations because it was left untreated. Medication has begun to heal the ulcers and she will remain on medication for her entire life that will in essence help her produce the tears her eyes need to remain healthy.
