Maxwell was literally hours away from being euthanized because he got in a dog fight with another dog in the home. Today he has found his forever family.

Silvio Garces, Maria Duran and beautiful daughters, Carolina and Gabby, flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Dallas, rented a car and met me at Lowe’s off I-40 in Oklahoma yesterday to meet Max! Max will now be Bruno and that bugger walked away on a leash with Maria without a backward glance. He must have had a premonition he will be the king of an only dog home but has Frenchie cousins he might want to meet on his own terms!
Reports are he was a perfect passenger in his car seat —sleeping most of the way. He liked the hotel bed where slept with pawrents and should be home soon.
I look forward to seeing them on Happy Tails!

Our foster mom Trish was contacted in Oklahoma and about taking this dog. His story is he is 2 years old, completely vetted and was originally purchased as a birthday present for a 17 year old girl, that didn’t go well and he ended up in another home, in that home a dog fight broke out with him and another dog, the person breaking it up was bitten but doesn’t know by which dog, and she said you either take him now or he will be euthanized. Trish promptly went and picked him, she has had him at her home for a few weeks now with all of her dogs and our rescues male and female and reports he has been nothing but a perfect gentlemen.
