Latest Update:
Almost 4 months ago to the day Laura drove to the shelter in Dallas and picked up a very sick and emaciated Bordeaux.
We named her Meg and she has lived with Travis every single day since the first one. He has nursed her back to health with the help of Dr. D and our medical team.
From the very first post April and Jeremy Duplechin of Houston Texas felt that Meg was their dog, they of course went through the entire application process and were approved and yet they had to wait for months and months and months to go by before she was finally cleared to go home.
Today they came with their Frenchie Zeus who will be Meg’s new brother, they were so excited to finally have this day come to life. Her name shall remain Meg and she was saddled up with a new collar and off she went into the sunset. She asked Travis if he was going to be okay and he reminded her that this is what we do, while he kissed her good bye, he said it’s hard but now we have for another new dog that needs us.
We know you’re in very good hands Meg, and we wish you all the best.
Megara was found in a shelter in Dallas in terrible condition, starving and covered in fleas. We brought her home, cleaned her up and had her examined by Dr. D. She is very high HW positive and has begun the long process of recovery. She’s a smaller girl and is just as sweet as can be. Right now she’s physically exhausted and we are focusing on food and rest for the time being. She gets along perfectly with all other dogs and is just a gem who never deserved to be neglected this way.
