Sweet Melly went to her new home in Rockwell, TX to live with Anthony, Amanda and 6 year old Nolan Singleton—former adopters of Dog Ranch Rescue Fiero, now named Beau.
Amanda has a passion for older dogs that have some medical issues and has been patiently waiting for Dr Jarrod Roach at 405 Vet Animal Hospital to release her. Her skin is beautiful and one can’t tell she had surgery for infected tail pocket.
Melly will be called Sylvie and Fiero is now Beau and they are besties already. Melly is timid but Beau includes her in his activities and daily routine.

Although goodbye was hard because she was so sickly at first and we bonded, but I rest tonight knowing she is very loved. It’s what we do!

Last night Diane from Lone Star Bulldog Rescue reached out asking if we could help. Lord have mercy we just don’t have many options, I’ve already loaded Millie up beyond capacity, the ranch is closed and the sanctuary is bursting at the seams but…..

This poor sick girl was a stray and nobody came. Look at her condition, she’s just rotting on her whole body. Her little tail pocket is just so terribly infected. We scratched our heads for a while and then said what if we ask Ricky if he could pick her up and drive her all the way to Oklahoma to foster mom Trish and let Dr Mc Handsome get her healthy again?

Reached out to Trish, reached out to Ricky and kaboom this morning Ricky was on the road and delivered her to Trish early afternoon, Trish scooped her up and off to see Dr Roach was immediate.
