Latest Update:
Molly has gone to live with Bill Roush and Ann Swain of Dennison Texas. They recently lost their lab boxer mix and the house was just too quiet. They loved Molly’s gentle spirit as well as her big head and ginormous paws. They may need to get a bigger dog bed but they have lots of couches and chairs she can snuggle in. She will forever be Molly and they will share her with us on the Happy Tails page. Happy life sweet girl!
About Molly:Welcome to dog Ranch Rescue Molly
UPDATE 9/6/2022
We are moving Molly back to the sanctuary. She’s very sad at the ranch being isolated. She cannot be with small dogs and we have no choice at the ranch to keep her separate. She’s going back to the sanctuary where she will be able to have lots more one on one time with people and larger dogs. Molly just wants someone to hold her on your lap. She doesn’t care how big she is and at the sanctuary she gets lots of lap time.

UPDATE 8/30/2022
Big Molly girl is hanging out at the ranch waiting for someone to apply for her. Molly cannot live with small dogs or cats. She can live with big dogs but because the ranch has both small and large she’s got to be kept by herself. We never like that but we have to keep everyone safe. Molly is feeling great after surviving her scare with bloat and her surgery and she loves being outside and rolling in the grass but we really need to get her shared to find her a home of her own.
UPDATE 8/26/2022
We are happy she is even alive after nearly dying from bloat, she is doing well, was spayed at the same time as that surgery. Unfortunately, it feels like every dog in our rescue is heartworm positive and yes Molly is too, her treatment will be coming up soon while we look for a family for her.

UPDATE 8/6/2022
UPDATE 8/5/2022
Half of her stomach was compromised and her intestines were full of air which can damage them with lack of motility. Her red blood cell count is low and they are worried about her blood pressure. She is nowhere near out of the woods so we just wait at this point.
UPDATE 8/4/2022
I’ll update tomorrow on what we have learned.
UPDATE 7/30/2022
Molly is one of many Bordeaux’s in our rescue with no home.
