Latest Update:
Brooke Kayland and Andrew Rees from Los Angeles lost their Boston Terrier, Hoagie, this past June at the age of 12.
They love this breed and look forward to making Mr. Bill a part of their home. He will go for “daycare” to his grandparent’s home each day and will be an only dog.
They involve their dog in their active lifestyle and plan to take him everywhere that they go – dining out, hikes, walks and drives.
When he goes to his grandparents for daycare each morning he will have two Frenchies to play with.
Mr Bill has settled in nicely and we are thrilled for him and his new family.
Happy life, sweet little man!
Mr. Bill was running the streets in south Texas being attacked by other dogs when a policeman happened to be driving by and grabbed him from the mouths of these dogs and took him to a vet.
He was there for several days while an owner was searched for, nothing was found. He was very reactive with them, snapping in their direction because he was terrified. We offered to take him and he was transported to us where he displayed being shut down and would not look at his transporters.
We have had him here with us for a week or so and he blossoms more and more each day, he’s a very friendly little man who loves affection. He has been evaluated with the family dogs and he has done just fine with all of them. He has a cold right now so he has not been introduced to general population yet.
He has wounds all around his head, ears, neck and body that are recovering nicely. He is HW positive and has begun treatment for that and he will be neutered very soon.
When we get to know him more we will announce what kind of home we are looking for.
