Latest Update:
Mustang Sally left the building today to start a wonderful new life with Patti Stelzer from Rockwall, TX. She will be the only dog in the home. Patti lost her dog to cancer 4 years ago and is just now ready to bring another dog into her life. Mustang Sally came in the room to meet her new mom and was in her lap napping within 5 minutes. She is going to keep her name and call her Sally. Patti loves to sew and said that Sally will be her lap dog while she sews. She said her next sewing project will be a dog quilt for Sally. ❤️ She promised to join Happy Tails and keep us posted. These two are going to have a very happy life together!
About Mustang Sally:
This little girl just weaned her last litter and I’m sure she’s full of milk and will need time to dry up. They listed her as a good mom and would also make a good pet..too bad they never gave her that opportunity.
She was born on 9/7/15 so she will soon have her 6th birthday out of a mill.
Formerly # 178

Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue Mustang Sally💙

UPDATE 7/5/2021

Some of these rescues are a little hard to figure out. Mustang Sally was not eating, the volunteers said they had offered her everything in the house and she said nope to everything except chicken breast which isn’t a sustaining balanced diet. I thought to myself…mustang Sally is an amped up girl and now that she has lost 2 pounds already lets go to plan B.
I told the volunteers fix her 5 different bowls with five different kinds of food, from dry to canned to raw etc etc and leave it in her den when you leave at night and take a photo of her bowls so you can see what she might have eaten..
Next morning they came into 5 empty bowls….😂
Turns out mustang Sally likes to eat alone and in the dark…

Problem solved…

UPDATE 6/22/2021

When we unloaded all of the dogs from the bus there was one dog that was raising hell. Barking and making demands. Turns out it was Mustang Sally. I opened the door in the cage release and she shot out of there like a bat out of hell and she has not looked back. She is thrilled to have stepped into this unknown world of freedom. She is curious, she is hilarious, she is an absolutely enchanting, lovely, funny, naughty little girl. I look forward to sharing her antics with you.
