About Nilla Wafer:
This story falls into the category of some people suck..
We were asked if we would take this 6 year old girl. She was taken to a vet clinic and discovered she was Heartworm positive and she’s not paying for that so the owner said she didn’t want her anymore. We are told her words were ” I got her from a breeder a month ago and I’m not that into her” 🤬
Somebody cropped her ears short so she’s lost her Frenchie bat ears 🤬..
Ricky went and picked her up and took her to the sanctuary. She will be fostered by one of our captains Danielle and I’m told by Ricky and the girls at the sanctuary that she is just as sweet and loving and happy as can be..
I assure you when I speak for all of us, we are totally very much into her.
Welcome to dog Ranch Rescue Nilla Wafer…

UPDATE 7/26/2022

An update on Nilla Wafer at foster mom Danielle’s house:
Well, I’ve been at foster mom’s house for about a week now. Sometimes she does weird things like puts my dinner in this flower looking thing. I have to stick my nose in there to find my food instead of just getting it out of a bowl. Hide N Seek for food? Kinda weird I think. 😏 My beagle foster sister thinks she needs to help me find my food which I’m nice enough to give her a few kibbles after I stare her down for a few seconds. She and I are starting to play a little bit. I chased her around the back yard yesterday for fun. She is pretty fast. Foster mom says I’m a good girl. I sleep well. I eat all my food no matter what foster mom puts it in. I take all my medicine and I give all the kisses a human can want. When foster mom says kissing time is done, I sit or lay next to her on the couch or floor. I follow her wherever she goes in the house. If I feel like she may not know I’m there I gently lick the back of her leg just to let her know I’m there.
Sending all my kisses,
Nilla Wafer
